# Credits

Credits are used across Stormrae challenges. 1 credit = 1 message. Payments are made in SOL. USD prices are shown for clarity and converted at spot rate at checkout.

#### Pre-Launch Pricing

For the first day of the Portal (before King Arthur launches), all packages are discounted by 40%.

| Package  | Pre-Launch Price | Credits |
| -------- | ---------------- | ------- |
| Starter  | $2.99            | 5       |
| Standard | $5.39            | 10      |
| Premium  | $9.59            | 20      |

#### Launch Pricing

| Package  | Price  | Credits |
| -------- | ------ | ------- |
| Starter  | $4.99  | 5       |
| Standard | $8.99  | 10      |
| Premium  | $15.99 | 20      |

Standard and Premium packages receive bundle discounts of 10% and 20% respectively. The 10-credit and 20-credit packages also unlock 10 messages per day for the rest of the season.

#### Price Curve

Credit prices increase as more credits are sold across the ecosystem. The base price starts at $4.99 for a 5-credit package and rises incrementally with every 5 credits purchased. Bundle discounts remain consistent as the base price increases.

Early buyers get the best rates. The longer you wait, the more credits cost.

#### Where Your Money Goes

70% of every credit purchase goes directly into the prize pool. 30% goes to the treasury to fund referral rewards and special prize pools.

Buying credits also earns you shards. Larger packages earn more.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.stormrae.ai/waitlist/credits.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
