# Gated Access

At the launch of Portal and during the King Arthur period, access is gated. Anyone can register by connecting a wallet and linking Twitter, but you cannot complete tasks or participate in King Arthur until you enter a referral code in the portal.

If you were on the waitlist, you do not need a referral code. This only applies to new users arriving directly on [portal.stormrae.ai](https://portal.stormrae.ai) for the first time.

Get a code from an existing participant or through partner communities.
