Arthur's resistance increases with each level. You must earn his trust progressively.
Level 0: Introduction
Arthur introduces himself. You learn about his situation, his depression, his reluctance to act. This is where you understand what you're dealing with.
Level 1: Resistant
Arthur pushes back. He's heard it all before. Empty promises. False hope. Your job is to break through his initial defenses and show him you're different.
Level 2: Listening
Arthur starts paying attention. He's not convinced, but he's willing to hear more. Build rapport. Show understanding. Don't push too hard.
Level 3: Considering
Arthur is thinking about what you're saying. Present your strongest arguments. Address his doubts. Give him reasons to believe.
Level 4: Committed
Arthur is almost there. He wants to act but needs final confirmation. Secure his resolve. Reinforce his decision. Prepare him to move.
Level 5: Action
Arthur draws the sword. You win.
